Plant a Palm (Pty) Ltd is a member of the Evergreen Group (www.evergreengroup.co.za) and operates from Evergreen Place, situated 30km north-west of Johannesburg, being in Muldersdrift, Mogale City, South Africa.

Through the group’s direct involvement over many years in growing and selling plants, and more specifically as one of the world’s leading growers and suppliers of specimen palms, the Evergreen Group recognises the fact that palm trees are associated worldwide with a tropical, peaceful and relaxed environment. Thus, the requirement of every home owner to have a palm or two in close proximity to the pool.

As regards businesses located in office-park environments, nothing finishes off the setting and completeness of the business headquarters as professionally as a stately palm or two.

This worldwide perspective translates into the fact that ‘everyone wants a palm’.
However, while most people prefer an ‘instant palm’, they lack the time-consuming exercise of locating a suitable palm, based on hardiness, planting area available, location (geographic and exposure to the elements) and site access, followed by the requirements of specialised transport, lifting equipment and correct planting procedures for the palm.
